UK cons?

It has always been my dream to attend a real genuine Anime Convention and see how they kick it in the big countries (and spend all of my money on anime merchandise that I don't have).
I was wondering, perhaps someone could recommend the best UK cons out there? Since there are so many and I have no idea which ones are good, which ones are not so good :(
